History of Trinidad School Lecture
The National Trust of Trinidad and Tobago will host a School History Lecture on Friday 26th January, 2018 at the Presentation College, San Fernando from 10:00 am to 12:00pm. This lecture will be presented by Professor Emerita Bridget Bereton and will examine on the social and cultural aspects of the history of Trinidad during the years 1492 to 1962.
Professor Emerita Bridget Bereton is the author of several books about the history of Trinidad which include: Race Relations in Colonial Trinidad, 1870-1900 and A History of Modern Trinidad, 1783-1962. She has also served as the Head of the History Department, Deputy Principal and Interim Principal at the University of the West Indies (UWI) and in several positions in the Public Service.
